It’s 1997 and the first day of college orientation. Boy meets girl. Boy decides girl is out of his league. Girl hears about boy and decides he is just the kind of boy she has been waiting for. The rest is history. Actually, the rest is quite a story…but we will save that for another day!

Headstrong & Heartfelt

As self-proclaimed button pusher, Brian dreams big, explores the world of “what if”, paves the way, reaches for the stars and pushes individuals and businesses to a bigger potential.

Design and details are Jessie’s forte! She can create something from nothing, do a photo shoot, plan an event, create a brand, design a website and do many more creative things in her sleep! She recognizes that is not typical and relishes the opportunity to help other people reach their fullest creative potential!

The boy & the girl

Brian and Jessie are a husband-wife team who finally realized, after 20+ years of being a team in every day life, that when they let God use the best of them, amazing things happen. Project 519 was really born many, many years ago but it took them that long to stop dipping their toes in the water and just jump right in! Polar opposite personalities and both oozing with creativity, Brian and Jessie were truly a match made in heaven.

Live & work together

Jessie always said she could never and would never “work” with Brian in an official capacity. Their personality differences are off the charts and that was daunting. Unbeknownst to Jessie the two of them had really been working together for pretty much as long as they have been married! It took a few years, a whole lot of grace with each other and many dance lessons to realize that God has them right where he wants them and that this season of life is the perfect season to acknowledge the work waiting out there for them…together!

full of themselfie

With all those selfies above, you may think that Brian and Jessie like to take their own picture. Nope, those selfies have purpose and meaning!

While Brian and Jessie aren't full of themselves, they are full—of life, passion, creativity and a constant desire to be more than the status quo. A little over six years ago, the two of them set foot inside Arthur Murray Dance Centers in Bloomfield, Connecticut (which is a story for another time!) and “silly selfies” came to life. Every time they are at a dance event or simply want to remember the experience of where they are and what they are doing, they take a selfie. No, not a posed picture taken by someone else. Not even a regular “pasted on” smiling selfie. A fun, silly, crazy, memorable selfie. A picture that will remind them of that exact moment in time, where they were and what they felt. A picture that often gives Brian a cramp in his legs from having to squat down to Jessie’s five feet zero inches! A picture that becomes an experience and so much more.

Project 519 Interns

Brian and Jessie are bound together by many things, but most important is their faith in Christ and their three little interns! When they aren’t working on amazing creative projects for clients, you will find them taking their daughters to ballroom dance parties, teaching the girls the finer points of renovating their old Victorian house, Jessie working in the garden and whipping up dinner and dessert, Brian building furniture in his woodshop and the whole family enjoying movie night with lots of popcorn!
