Get in the know for the Bee’s Knees Bash!

  1. WHERE DO WE PARK? There is a parking lot behind the town hall. If you park in the lot and bring your ticket inside, it will be validated. Note that the parking lot is not exclusive for town hall and parking may be limited.

  2. WHEN WILL THE DOORS OPEN? The main doors to the building will be open at 6:30pm and the secondary doors to the event will open at 7:00pm.

  3. WHERE DO WE ENTER? The entrance to the Bee’s Knees Bash is on Main Street at the front of the building (up the exterior staircase).

  4. WHAT ARE THE HOURS? The event starts at 7:00pm and ends at 11:00pm.

  5. DO WE HAVE TO DRESS UP? The theme of the night is 20’s and 30’s or also knows as Great Gatsby! You do not have to dress up in the theme or fancy clothes but we do encourage you to wear something that will make you feel like you are going out for a fun evening!

  6. WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO DO? The evening will be filled with plenty of entertainment! There will live professional dance performances by Arthur Murray Dance Centers throughout the evening as well as a local artist doing a live painting up in the balcony. Appetizers, sweet treats and plenty to drink as well as several silent auction items!

  7. I DON’T KNOW HOW TO DANCE! That is okay! There is a large dance floor and there will be great music, but you don’t have to be a dancer or know how to dance in order to attend and have a good time. There will be plenty to do and watch!

  8. IS THERE A BAR? This event is “bring your own bubbly”. What does that mean? It means that the event will be providing water and a non-alcoholic drink, but alcoholic drinks will not be provided or for sale. It also means that all guests can bring their own drink. If you would like something drink other than water and punch, you are encouraged to bring some bubbly, wine, beer, etc. There will be a bar that will have two sections: a space for you to “check in” your bottles if you would like to make sure that it is reserved/consumed just for you and your party. There will also be a “community” section of wine, etc. If you are bringing a bottle of wine, etc. but do not plan to consume it all you may feel free to add it to the community supply that will provided by the guests and for consumption of the guests. Please drink responsibly. Alcohol to be consumed by individuals ages 21 years and older. The West Hartford Town Hall and Project 519 is not liable.

  9. ARE THERE ASSIGNED TABLES/SEATING? There will be round tables as well as chairs throughout the space around the dance floor. There will not be assigned or reserved tables.
